Welcome to Miles Up!

Miles Up is an aerial studio currently located in Highdown Secondary School in Reading, Berkshire. We offer training in a wide range of aerial disciplines like aerial silks, hoop and conditioning. Our classes are run by certified aerial instructors.

 

Whether you are new to aerial or you have been doing this for a while, come and join us in the air!

How to get to Miles Up
How to get to Miles Up
  • On foot/ by cycle: you can reach Miles Up from Reading Town Centre (c. 50 min walk or 14 min cycle) and Caversham High Street (c. 30 min walk or 10 min cycle) . If you're bringing your bike, there's plenty of space to lock your bike in the car park at Highdown. We suggest coming via Hemdean Road in Caversham if looking to avoid hills. If you do walk, there are multiple places to grab a coffee/food before or after your class in Caversham!
  • By bus: the closest bus stops to Miles Up are St Barnabas Church (6 min walk to Miles Up) and Buckingham Drive (12 min walk to Miles Up). There are multiple buses from Reading town centre you can take:
    • Pink 22 runs from Central Reading - Caversham Heights via Caversham Bridge. Buses run every 30-60 mins on weekday evenings and weekends.
    • Pink 25 runs from Central Reading - Peppard Common via Reading Bridge, Prospect Street, Emmer Green, Sonning Common. Buses run every 30-60 mins on weekday evenings and weekends.
    • Berry 23 runs from Central Reading - Caversham Park via Reading Bridge, Henley Road. Buses run every 30 mins on weekday evenings and weekends. 
    • Berry 24 runs from Central Reading - Emmer Green via Caversham Bridge, Hemdean Road. Buses run every 30-60 mins on weekday evenings and weekends.
  • By train: you can get to Miles Up from Reading Station via Caversham. It's a 50 min walk, 14 min cycle or use one of the bus routes above. There are multiple places to grab a coffee/food before or after your class in Caversham or just outside the station!
  • By car: if you live further away and/or need to bring the car to class, there are available car parking spaces within the school premises. No need to book in advance!
